Flow
The Inspirational word of the week is……
Flow (verb) 1. to circulate 2. to proceed from a source 3. to well forth. (noun) 1. current 2. stream
Thanks to Karen Blackburn of the Mustard Seed on Facebook for the following quote…
“Don’t let the fear of the time it will take to accomplish something stand in the way of your doing it. The time will pass anyway; we might just as well put that passing time to the best possible use.” Earl Nightengale
The best possible use.
Writing a post to inspire you, my friendly blog reader, is how I’m planning on putting my time to it’s best possible use.
Although I don’t know exactly how this post will turn out, I promise to do my best.
I hope to inspire you by staying open to the flow of energy from the Source, the Force, my Captain, God, Allah, the Universe, the Divine (you know what I mean) .
Let me start with a quick story….
Last week, I went upstairs to gather laundry from my son’s room. The window was open in his room and had blown his door shut. As I opened up his door, I was met with a warm gust of air, followed by a cool breeze. That flow of air reminded me of energy from the Source. Without an outlet, the cool breeze was blocked from cooling off the room. Once I opened up the door, the current of air had somewhere to go. The warm air was pushed through and the room felt cool and comfortable again.
That’s where the lesson comes in.
Resistance, fear, and anxiety produce doubt.
Doubt shuts the door to the flow of energy from the Divine.
Inspiration is always available, but without an outlet, it has nowhere to go. Like water through a hose, the flow gets ‘pinched off’.
It’s up to you to find an outlet, a place toward which that current of Divine energy will flow in order to serve humanity. Whether it’s through your business, your family or your community, that flow is just waiting for you to open up and allow it to work through you.
“Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working.” Van Gogh
When you let go of your doubts, the flow of energy from the Universe clears out your soul and allows joy, courage, hope, faith, love and peace to fill you up. (For me, it feels like pink!)
From this place you can savor your life and serve your people.
You don’t have to know how it’s going to work. just-coz-i-dont-know-now
You just have to stay open to becoming a lasting, positive influence.
“It’s good to be doin’ what I’m supposed to be doin’ with the people I’m doin’ it with.” (repeat)
Me
I hope this has inspired you, my friendly blog reader.
So, how do you recognize the flow of energy from the Source through your life?
I’d love to read your thoughts in the comments below!!
