Peace in our time
Today is Monday, which means it’s time for the Inspirational song of the week.

“We’re gonna find peace in our time”
That seems like a pretty simple formula to me.
Peace is already here. We just need to recognize it.
So how do you recognize peace?
What does it look like?
Better yet, what does peace smell like?
Go ask your kids. I’ll bet they can tell you.
The idea that peace has a smell won’t even surprise them. They’ll recognize peace without question because they haven’t been convinced of it’s impossibility. Our children deserve to know that peace is not only possible but already a reality. It just needs to be recognized.
Even the simple act of talking about it is peaceful in itself.
So when somebody tells you that we’ll never have peace, it’s just too hard, the bastards are always going to win, just smile and ask them ” Really? Would you recognize peace when you smell it?
They’ll probably look at you funny and think your weird. Who cares! At least you gave them something interesting to think about.

Never give up. Our children deserve our peaceful perseverance.

These ladies all spent 2 hours of their morning taking down Christmas with me at the Old Town Hall! Many hands made light work, ladies. It was a pleasure working with you all!! xoxoxooxox
